Google Chrome doesn't need to type "http://"

Google reportedly is working very hard to form the mainstay of their browser, Chrome, more simple, and quick mninimalis. And, in the mindset of Google Chrome developers one of which is to shorten the writing without using the http:// URL address. Google Chrome invites users to reduce the complexity of typing the web address so that reduces the time required to open a website.

Even if you enter a URL with the http:// format it will not be included and even omitted from the address bar of your browser. Meanwhile, other prefixes such as https or ftp and equipment and still displayed in the address bar, to provide a high sense of security.

What about compatibility with usability standpoint, especially since all the web browser using the normal view http://. Another problem that arises is that it is currently not possible to copy only the host name (eg www.fundigy.com) while the http:// prefix will always be there.
