Overheating is a common thing on the laptop. Unlike the PC that has plenty of room to provide air flow, the laptop has technical constraints that cause heat to be the number one problem and requires special attention to care for her. With a few pieces of cardboard and a USB fan, you can easily create a simple cooling pad for your laptop.
As shown in the picture, make the ends to adjust the height of cardboard boxes in accordance with the USB fan. Now continuously air circulation under the laptop can prevent the engine from excessive heat.

i dont think thats a good design for the fan part because you are blowing air into a vent that blows air out,,,
I kind of agree with caifaz on his comment, additionally, the support base doesn’t seem to be of good quality and presentation. =)

Well, it’s not like you’re ‘forcing’ the air from the usb fan to blow into the outlet vent.
When you look at it, the fan not only delivers the cooler air to the inlet vent, it also help to quickly disperse the hot air that coming out of the outlet vent. The air from the fan will not/never go into the outlet vent.
I did this with another type of usb fan (minus the cardboxes anyway) & my laptop cpu is much cooler than when using a cooling pad that I’ve purchased. Not only that, it also cool down the palmrest area.
My friends at work are asking me how much did I spend on my messenger bag and where did I buy it. I’m planning on getting a different one this week
