Youtube now as light as Feather

Feather is a new feature added to the google video service YouTube. Feather is made to watch the video page has a latency as low as possible. The risks are many features that are available normally reduced to reduce the number of bytes downloaded by the browser. Latency is the difference in distance / time between the input data into audio output which is usually common in streaming video.

Chrome DEX tools shows that there is improvement from the downloadable resources for viewing now only requires 52 KB, not 391 KB.

Features are omitted in the Feather: search suggestion, posting comments, viewing all the comments, rating videos, customizing the embedded player. For the moment lite version is not yet available for all videos. So we are looking forward to Watch Youtube will soon light as ‘fur’.
