Save and backup Office files with Windows Live SkyDrive
Do you use Microsoft Office programs to create documents and then use Google Docs to edit them online or as a backup data outside the office?
Well, now Office 2010 and Office Web Apps available in beta for public consumption that can be obtained free of charge, and the following several reasons why you should consider uploading documents, presentations and spreadsheets to Office Web Apps via Windows Live SkyDrive in addition to account in Google Docs.

1. Windows Live SkyDrive supports larger files
You can upload documents and office work for 50 MB to the Office Web Apps via Live SkyDrive.
2. Document format is not changed
If you write documents in Microsoft Office, Office Web Apps will still maintain the document format is much better than Google Docs.
In the example above, the left is the original document created in Microsoft Word. Screenshot middle is the same document is imported into Google Docs as an image to the right is from the Office Live Web Apps.
3.OpenXML file format
Google Docs does not support. Pptx which is the default format of PowerPoint 2007 and 2010 and all Office file formats can dipuload to Live SkyDrive.
4. Public Documen
With Google Docs, you have to share the link and informs the reader about the location of the file. In the case of Windows Live SkyDrive, documents are automatically published in the Lifestream as soon as you upload, so everyone can see it in the network without having to share any links.
Both both Office Web Apps and Google Docs is the initial product and not support all the features available only in the desktop office applications. But there is one big difference here with some illustrative examples of such cases below.
If you create a document or presentation upload it, and when opened again, the content will not be lost and remain the original version with the Office Web Apps.
