Why is your PC slowing down?

Some problems can slow the PC even with a qualified spesisifkasi. Is that right? Here are some of the most likely to occur.

-Load disk and disk defragmented. If your hard drive is too full (more than about 80 percent), or too fragmented (both are almost identical), it can slow your PC, especially if you do not have sufficient RAM capacity.

-Defragging is the easiest solution. To do defrag in XP, select Start, then My Computer. Right-click the C: and select Properties. Click the Tools tab and then Defragment Now. For Vista you can use tools from third parties, one of which is recommended MyDefrag.

-If the disk getting full and defragging does not help, you should remove most of the files that meet the hard disk drive or move it to the easy exsternal or replace the drive with a larger size.

-Avoid installing a new program. Adding software from a crowded hard drive will in turn make a slow computer performance.

-Consider security software. You may not install the software again, but it should be noted also AntiVirus software should always update or you’ll risk infection. The majority like Norton AntiVirus and McAfee consuming resources on your computer, especially the old slow PC. Consider switching to an alternative AntiVirus smaller, more slender, and of course free. For example  AVG Free Edition.

-Reduce autoloaders. Profram AntiVirus may not be the only one that runs automatically every time the computer is turned on (startup). A number of other programs may also have been installed in the Startup list that will make the road a PC so slow. Try click Start, select Run, and type msconfig, and finally click the Startup tab. See if a lot of programs in the list, remove all unnecessary programs, like Adobe Gamma, Print Manager, etc..

And the last suggestion, when you want to upgrade your PC’s hardware, adding RAM is the cheapest factor and very effective to make the PC is no longer slow down.
